Cover Reveal: Silenced by Dani Pettrey

You've all probably seen this as most of us bookish types follow Dani Pettrey on Twitter - you know I cannot resist sharing favorite new cover arts and the chance to gush about them, however in case you haven't, here's the all-new cover art of her upcoming novel, Silenced!

I really like this cover! It's more of a "summer" scene and is different than her prior books while also maintaining that "same" look plus um, how  exciting does that bottom scene look!? Bring on book four and more McKenna love.

If you've not seen it or you just want to chat about it, what do you think!?

    1. Me, too, Jillian. This most definitely in a top-spot for 2014; if this cover is an indication, it'll be awesome.

      I'm sure hoping it's Kayden's story! I've not found a synopsis. Yet. :)

  3. I haven't read any of these books, since I don't read a lot of contemporary stuff (although I've been thinking about picking up this series) but out of the group, I like this cover best.

    1. Cool! Glad the covers of Dani's novels are tempting you, Hayden. What I love best about this series is the family relationships. They're so precious and caring and "real." :)

If ever you read the books, I hope you enjoy them.

  4. Enough to send a girl squealing. Kayden is GORGEOUS. Everything about the cover is so appealing. Beautiful colors... blue and green - a favorite combination for me. And that bottom scenes seems to hint that there'll be some good suspense in there... and romance! Very important :) I just can't wait for a love story between Kayden and Jake. So excited. It's bound to be good... very good. Captivating cover. So excited for the story!!

    1. TELL ME ABOUT IT, Ganise! I almost did when I realized Dani released her cover. :)

This cover really "pops" because of its summer setting - where the others were pretty, blue and white, this one offers more "excitement." And as you say, the colors work together well.

The composition does suggest a new level of excitement. Love that! If this is Kayden's story (is there a synopsis anywhere?!), I'm THRILLED. Been waiting for hers forever. :)

    3. ...as we've all likely seen now, Dani has confirmed it's about Kayden/Jake. So excited! Been waiting for Kayden's story from the very beginning and of course, we all "knew," Jake would be the one to win her over. :)

  5. I love this! It fits perfectly with the other ones, but like you said, it's different. This reminds me I still need to read book 3! :)

    1. Oh, yes! Tammy, you must read Gage and Darcy's story. Perfect time to play catch up, right!? May is a ways off yet. :)

Glad you like this new cover also! It sure is lovely.

    1. Ditto! I'm thrilled to finally get Kayden's story. She's been the girl I've most identified with since the series began. :)
