Book Giveaway

Good mornin'! (*cue Singin' in the Rain song*) Today, we have a brand-new  book review celebrating Katie Ganshert's latest treasure, A Broken Kind of Beautiful and because it lives up to its title and then some, there is a copy for one reader to snag. Its theme is one of forgiveness and redemption, and in fact can be compared to a line in a favorite song, "heal the wound but leave the scar." This may have been my first novel by Katie, but let me tell you, it won't be my last. For more giveaway details, read on below.

This giveaway(s) is open internationally though if anyone outside the U.S. wins, you will receive an Amazon Kindle copy of the book. Also, please I will just ask that anyone who leaves a comment under "anonymous," please leave the same name you enter into the widget in your comment - it's not nearly as easy to try and match comments when there is no name and in fairness to everyone else, I want to be able to be sure everyone who used the Rafflecopter correctly has a fair chance at winning against those who abuse it - believe it or not, there have been a couple people that I could not verify. So please, I don't mean to overwhelm, but just keep this in mind when entering future giveaways. I'd sure appreciate it!

To be entered in the giveaway, just enter as much or as little as you like into the Rafflecopter widget... and good luck everyone! This ends on April 18th.

About the book:

Synopsis: Fashion is a fickle industry, a frightening fact for twenty-four-year-old model Ivy Clark. Ten years in and she's learned a sacred truth -- appearance is everything. Nobody cares about her broken past as long as she looks beautiful for the camera. This is the only life Ivy knows -- so when it starts to unravel, she'll do anything to hold on. Even if that means moving to the quaint island town of Greenbrier, South Carolina, to be the new face of her stepmother's bridal wear line -- an irony too rich for words, since Ivy is far from the pure bride in white. - Goodreads

  11. I've loved both of Katie's books that I've read so I don't think I could pick a fav! As for what I'm reading right now I have four books going, For Such a Time by Kate Breslin, Through the Deep Waters by Kim Vogel Sawyer, The Pelican Bride by Beth White, and To Die Once by Miranda A. Uyeh! Thanks for the giveaway!

    1. Glad to hear Katie's prior books are equally lovely, Abbi. I'm definitely planning on reading them ASAP. :)

Reading about your current books sounds like my reading habits! I'm always reading multiple books, too - and just now, I'm reading more than I care to think about. ;) I'm really curious about Kate's and Miranda's so I'll be watching for your reviews - and I've heard conflicting things about Beth's, too.

    2. Yeah I usually have at least three going at once-a fiction hardcopy, a fiction kindle book, and a non-fiction-though sometimes (like now) I read more!
For Such a Time is simply amazing! Such a beautifully written book! To Die For is pretty enjoyable and so is The Pelican Bride-though I wish there was more of the romance in TPB!

    3. I like to read more than one because I think I tell myself that going that route will make the reading go quicker - like if I'm behind, but the truth is, it's usually better to take it one book at a time. Though for whatever reason, I rarely listen to myself. ;)

Wonderful! I'm please to hear such glowing reports on these books, Abbi. I had high hopes for Kate's when I read what it was a re-telling of so I'm glad to know it's a keeper. :)

  12. My most current favorite read is The Geography of You and Me and Dancing with Fireflies. I guess that's two, huh. ;) I I'm about to start Claiming Mariah by Pam Hillman and A Beauty So Rare by Tamera Alexander. I'm expecting to really like both of them.

    1. Two, three, four, however many, I love to hear, Tressa! :) I *need* to read your review of 'Geography' as I'm anxious to read Jennifer's books... or maybe I did read it...? (Forgive me, I must be strung out with all my reads these days. LOL.) Anyway, I'm glad you enjoyed Dancing with Fireflies - I'm already anticipating Denise's next book - should be lovely.

Enjoy your next reads - I sure hope you like them. :)
