It's Independence Day

Today, on this Independence Day, is a day to remember all that our Forefathers left behind. Today is about remembering and celebrating our independence as a new nation when John Adams, George Washington and many others were at the forefront fighting to give us the chance to become the free country we are today, America. The Declaration of Independence is what they left for us, and no matter what, Americans still believe in the truth it states.

Remembering today in all that this country was founded on – and thank you to those who have protected those morals and values so that we can continue living in a free country these many years.

Happy Independence Day, readers!
What are your plans today?

  1. Happy Independence Day to you, too! :D (My plans include "catching up"...with everything! ;) )

    1. Hope you had a wonderful day, Tammy. Cannot believe July 4th has come and gone - I just can't keep up! ;)

  2. Happy 4th to you too! Enjoying the pool and lots of soccer today!

    1. Yay! Gotta' love the pool - I'm jealous. ;)

Hope you had a wonderful day, Jamie. Not sure I like this holiday marking the year being half over. :)

  3. Happy Independence Day!

Spent the first half of it at work, the second half chatting with a friend I rarely get to talk to, and will wind up the evening with my annual viewing of "The Patriot." What about you?

    1. Charity, hi! :)

Bummer about work. But, I'm glad you got in some fun too - catching up with friends is the best and watching The Patriot always good. (I need to rewatch it.) My day was quiet. We grilled out, watched the fireworks and a cute Hallmark movie but yesterday I had lunch with a cousin and that was fun. :)

      Happy (belated) Independence Day! :)

    1. Right back atcha, Natalie! Hope you had a great July 4th; I don't want this long weekend to end. :)

  6. Just wanted to wish you a happy 4th! We were out of town for the past few days relaxing with my in-laws and I didn't touch the computer once. It was a nice break and loads of fun with the kids! :)

    1. Ooo! That does sound like a wonderful time, Tressa! I'm with you. There are times when it's nice to have a computer/electronic device break. For me, it's been during the weekends, and it is indeed nice. :)

Happy belated July 4th. Hope you had a wonderful day.
