Top Ten Books on my Winter TBR

Putting together the to-be-read lists for the new seasons has been a favorite TTT list for me to put together. Perhaps that's why today's was so fun because ready or not fellow book addicts, the season we're coming up on is winter and yay, we get to make a new TBR. Not sure how I did on my fall reading list since I didn't check it though I know I missed some titles on my summer list.

Top Ten Books On My Winter TBR
(sorry this is like a month early from when Winter OFFICIALLY starts but December is too busy with end of year stuff)

Same as always, I'm anticipating reading Elizabeth's new novel.

This series has been a joy for me. I've loved every single moment and am very much looking forward to reading it - in fact, it's next up!

Reader's already know Jody's talented, now we're excited to see what she does in the YA genre.

I cannot tell you how excited I am to have been given the chance to read this novel (thank you SO much, Bloomsbury!) especially since Emery's debut seemed to spark lots of good comments, and it's definitely one of the next books on my immediate list - hopefully before Christmas.

This one should be self-explanatory - or for frequent readers it should be.

Dina is debuting with Bethany House this winter and this one is another YA/teen title, so of course I'm curious since I love that Christian authors are filling this blank gap in Inspirational fiction.

Melissa is a sparkling contemporary talent, which means reading her upcoming novella is a must.

 Sleeping Beauty re-telling? Sounds like a must-read.

I came across this one randomly on Amazon or somewhere and it sounds good. Have any of you read it?

Another one that should explain its presence all on its own.

    1. Looks like you've got a great TBR in spite of not knowing about those listed on mine, Hannah. I'm definitely wanting to read both Veronica's and Ally's, it's just all about time. Good luck with you list - sounds like some good ones! :)

  6. Great list! I'm also looking forward to reading Rachel Hauck and Jody Hedlund's new books. Some books I hope to read this winter are: the last Harry Potter book (so I'll be through with my series reread), Dash & Lily's Book of Dares, Here to Stay (which I've been wanting to read for so long but I think I read someone mention in a review that it's sort of Christmas-ish? So I've been trying to hold off on it until December), Lizzy & Jane, and the first six Anne of Green Gables books. :)

    1. *high five* Great picks, Kristin; I'm SO eager for Rachel's and Jody's. Both sound and look amazing! Enjoy your rereads and I'm curious about 'Dash & Lily' as well. Glad you still have Melissa's and Katherine's; both are exceptional within their own genre. Oh, yay for Anne of Green Gables - I'm not sure I've read those before. Bad, me! Enjoy your AWESOME list, girl. :)

    1. Thanks, Kate! I plan to though realized that during the holidays I don't tend to read as much with the different days that seem to crop up during the weeks. But, I'm still optimistic! ;) Enjoy your winter TBR.

  9. Awesome list, Rissi!
Yay for "Beyond All Dreams!" I'm glad it is releasing sooner than I thought it would.
I did not realize that "Dauntless" is releasing this Winter, nor that it is a YA (Bethany House doesn't often publish YA titles). Look like an interesting read.
The "Sleeping Beauty" retelling also looks intriguing. I've never seen it before, but I'll have to look out for it at the library.
As for the next Rachel Hauck book, I'd like to read the books before it- I'm determined to finish reading "Once Upon a Prince" one day. I currently have it checked out from the library for the third time.

    1. Hi, Grace! Thanks for reading. :)

Hooray for small things like a quicker book release; those are the best kind. Dauntless looks epic and way fun, which is great and I like the YA trend in novels - I am pretty sure that's what this book was written more to appeal to, but you know maybe I'm mistaken too. Either way, I'm excited.

Anything fairytale warrants a look because it's usually so fun, so I'm hoping A Wicked Thing is worth a read.

As for Rachel's books... hope you enjoy it! I find them some of the sweetest contemporaries out there. :)

    1. AWESOME! I love that you have full shelves, Shannon; those are the bestest.

I'm definitely interested in reading Amie and Meagan's sequel to the Starbound books, but must confess this one hasn't grabbed me as the first one did. Not sure why though I think I did put it on an upcoming TTT (maybe the Christmas wishlist). As for numbers 4 and 6, hope you enjoy both! I'll have to read them as well though the latter will come next! :)
