A Sugar Creek Christmas Book Giveaway

Morning, friends! Yesterday I found out some of the bestest news ever. Writer extrodinaire, Jenny B. Jones has another new novella/story out. This go-round, it's a Christmas one too! *insert appropriate fangirl moment* I'm both excited and bummed to see this because a.) it means new books from Jenny (nothing bad there) and b.) it's a reminder that I've yet to read Jenny's latest novel. My sincere apologies to Jenny for that oversight. I will have to remedy that asap along with reading this, which I've no doubt is a charmer. First though I'd like to introduce you to the story by giving one of you the chance to win a copy for your Kindle library.

This giveaway(s) is open to all readers. I do ask that anyone who leaves a comment under "anonymous," please leave the same name you enter into the widget in your comment - it's not nearly as easy to try and match comments when there is no name and in fairness to everyone else, I want to be able to be sure everyone who used the Rafflecopter correctly has a fair chance at winning against those who abuse it - believe it or not, there have been a couple people that I could not verify. So please, I don't mean to overwhelm, but just keep this in mind when entering future giveaways. I'd sure appreciate it! Winner(s) will have 48 hours to respond to the email notification before another winner is randomly chosen.

To be entered in the giveaway, just enter as much or as little as you like into the Rafflecopter widget... and good luck everyone! The giveaway ends on December 16th.

The Book:

Sometimes all love needs is a second chance.

Morning television show darling Emma Sutton has just been fired. The only way to get her job back is to find a holiday story to warm the coldest heart. So when her hometown of Sugar Creek, Arkansas, needs a Christmas event planner, Emma moves back, sure her story lies in the town’s desire to become a tourist’s holiday wonderland. The plan is perfect—until Emma meets her new boss.

Charming, handsome Noah Kincaid isn’t just Sugar Creek’s newest mayor. He’s also Emma’s ex-fiancé. Ten years ago Emma left Noah her ring and a goodbye note, but it’s haunted her ever since. The last thing Noah wants to do is work with the woman who broke his heart, but Emma’s desperate to prove to him that her bah-humbug ways won’t interfere with her work.

Emma finds it’s more than the mistletoe drawing her back to Noah. Whatever they had is clearly not over, but Noah’s kisses can’t protect Emma from a past that won’t leave her alone. As the snow falls and the trees glisten, love will come to Sugar Creek. But will it come in time to make all of Emma’s Christmas dreams come true? - Amazon

  1. This is so cool! My favorite Jenny B. Jones book is the Charmed Life Series, even though that's three books. This book sounds amazing:) Thanks for hosting this giveaway!

    1. Yay! I haven't read Jenny's 'Charmed Life' series. Or I don't think I have. Right now I'm working through her Katie Parker series (so good) and just started this book last night which is... EXCELLENT thus far. Hope you enjoy this one if/when you read it, Sarah - and best of luck. :)

    1. Me too, Laura. I am a huge fan of Jenny's and so when I saw she had a new novella out, needless to say, I had a fangirl moment. :)

  3. Awesome giveaway, Rissi! This looks like such a cute story! Love the cover!

Maybe "one day" A Sugar Creek Christmas would make a great Christmas Movie!

    1. I think any of Jenny's novels would make fabulous movies but just from the first 16% percent of the book (I started it last night), things are setting up for a perfect someday-Christmas adaptation. We can only wish. :)

The cover is darling, I agree. Here's hoping for more from Jenny. :)

    1. *waves* Hi, Sara. It's been too long. :) Hope you're doing well.

I've not heard of Falling Kingdoms but it's always good to have potential new reads. As for Jenny B. Jones, I love There You'll Find Me and am eager to finish the Katie books. Book 1 was beautiful.

Thanks - I have fun switching things up around here. :)

    2. It has, it has. Sadly I just can't seem to fall back into a habit of blogging regularly :/
I am doing well though and I hope that you are too!

It's a fantasy book, the series reminds me of Cinda Williams Chima's books. I hope you enjoy the rest of the series! I seem to remember the second book being hilarious...

    3. I get that. Right now I'm behind with blogging too simply because it's the holiday time and we're busier. Ah, well! I'm grateful to have this blogging journey, so it's fun to be a part of no matter how long it takes to catch up. :)

Cool! I'm slowly getting more into fantasy so it sounds like a series to look into - plus I do love good humor!

    4. I can understand that, the holidays are a busy time of the year! :) Blogging is wonderful, even when we get behind a little.

Just to clarify, when I mentioned the second book being hilarious, I was referring to the Katie Parker series. I don't think I made it very clear, sorry!!!

    5. Love the holidays, but they do keep me busy. Guess that's part of the fun though. (Yeah, I'll keep trying to convince myself of that *smile*)

Oooh... I see! My apologies. That was probably my bad. I was trying to reply a bit too quickly today. Or I'll use that as my excuse. ;) Cannot wait to read Katie's second story; it does sound fabulous.

    6. Haha, I can relate ;)

No worries, I wasn't very clear when I wrote it. :) And it was fabulous!

    7. Thanks for saying so. ;)

I'm so glad! I read Katie's first story and cannot wait to get back to that world. Sadly, it'll have to keep until the new year.

  13. I'm sorry to say that I have not read any of Jenny's books, although I have two or three waiting for me on my Kindle. It's just that I tend to over commit and stay behind on review commitments. But she consistently gets high ratings and I'm going to work one in very soon. This looks like a thoroughly enjoyable story, Rissi. I just finished Through the Deep Waters by Kim Vogel Sawyer, an unusual book that I really liked.
