And just because it's fun, taken from Dani's Book Banter FB page, here are some character inspiration photos. The first college are the actors Dani pictured as Reef and Kirra, the second is a pick from fans. I have to confess, I like seeing Oliver and Felicity (Stephen and Emily) picked. *wink*
Additionally and separate from Dani's awesome giveaway prizes (remember if you wish to enter the Heart of Adventure sweepstakes, you have to visit Dani's entry form), there is a copy of Sabotaged up for grabs on the blog. If you'd like a chance to read this novel - guys, it's wonderful - you can enter as many or as few entries as you like into the Rafflecopter below. Before we get to that, here are the usual listing of RULES and the book's synopsis:

This giveaway(s) is open to all readers (but if you enter and DO NOT have a U.S. address, you will be accepting a Kindle copy,  for U.S. readers a paperback is available if they prefer). I do ask that anyone who leaves a comment under "anonymous," please leave the same name you enter into the widget in your comment - it's not nearly as easy to try and match comments when there is no name and in fairness to everyone else, I want to be able to be sure everyone who used the Rafflecopter correctly has a fair chance at winning against those who abuse it - believe it or not, there have been a couple people that I could not verify. So please, I don't mean to overwhelm, but just keep this in mind when entering future giveaways. I'd sure appreciate it! Winner(s) will have 48 hours to respond to the email notification before another winner is randomly chosen.

To be entered in the giveaway, just enter as much or as little as you like into the Rafflecopter widget... and good luck everyone! The giveaway ends on February 19th.

The Book

Synopsis: Growing up, goody-two-shoes Kirra Jacobs and troublemaker Reef McKenna were always at odds. Now paired together on Yancey's search-and-rescue canine unit, they begin to put aside old arguments as they come to see each other in a different light. Then a call comes in from the Iditarod that will push them to their limits.

Kirra's uncle, a musher in the race, has disappeared. Kirra and Reef quickly track the man, but what they discover is harrowing. Frank's daughter has been kidnapped. In order to save her, the man must use his knowledge as a mechanical engineer to do the kidnapper's bidding or she will die. Kirra and Reef, along with the entire McKenna family, are thrown into a race to stop a shadowy villain who is not only threatening a girl's life, but appears willing to unleash one of the largest disasters Alaska has ever seen.

    1. Thank you for letting me join your influencer teams, Dani. It's been such a fun ride. :)

I always enjoy reading about character inspiration and it was fun to see your FB banter page featuring your character inspiration - they both suit quite well. :)

    1. I thought so, Bekah... but then maybe I'm biased loving Oliver and Felicity so much. (There's a couple that had best end up together!) Thanks for joining in the fun. :)

  4. Such a fun post! I agree that I like the idea of Oliver and Felicity as Reef and Kirra though I haven't read the book yet! I've never had a huge desire to visit Alaska since I don't like the cold but my best friend's mom grew up there and it would be kinda fun to visit once!

    1. Oliver and Felicity are so awesome! Stephan and Emily would do a nice job with the characters, I'd say. :) I don't blame you! Alaska's cols is a turn off. If you visit at the right time of year though, it's like Autumn (cool, but not freezing). I have family up there and only went once, but I'd go again. :)

  5. Um, if Oliver and Felicity are ever an option, I choose them. <3 I've never been to Alaska but would love to visit sometime.

    1. Well, I hope you can someday! Alaska is beautiful and no doubt, a cruise would show that off perfectly. :)

  8. I would NOT like to visit Alaska! I really like this series but that's pretty high on my list of places to avoid! I like my sunshine and warmth way too much! And I'm not a traveler. I have no desire to "see the world". I'm too blessed living in the midwest I guess. I think other than the cold winters this is the most perfect place on earth to live!

    1. Nothing wrong with that. I'd love to travel to some places (Europe, states in the U.S.), but with all the restrictions on travel, I do agree it makes the idea of travelling less appealing. :)
