Top Ten Books On My Spring TBR List

It's that time of year again! The snow is rapidly melting, the temperatures are rising (near 70 here yesterday), the grass and flowers will soon begin to awaken again. Winter is losing its grip. But more importantly, it's time to take a look at our spring to-be-read pile. Mine is definitely unrealistic given that from now until the end of April I *have* to focus on INSPYs reading, plus unless these are review books, chances are, I won't be reading them anytime soon. I'm not entirely sure why I put one of these on my list since it doesn't hit store shelves until August (or the re-release, which is what I'll get), but hey, I didn't want to reformat the list. Yes, I'm creatively lazy like that.

Without further ado, let's take a peek at my (overly ambitious) Spring TBR List courtesy of the Broke and Bookish weekly Top Ten Tuesday meme:

Turning it over to you! Which, if any of these would make your Top Ten Tuesday TBR? What do you plan to read this new spring season?

    1. Some of these should have gone on my summer list as well, Dawn. But I didn't pay close enough attention to the release dates. :D

  2. Nice list, Rissi! We share one read, "Siren's Fury." Looking forward to seeing what happens next, because THAT CLIFF HANGER!
I want to try a Melissa Tagg read this Spring. "From the Start" looks good, but I'm hoping to start with her first book and see what it is all of you think is so amazing about her writing. :-D

    Happy St. Patrick's Day!

    1. Thanks, Grace; like you, I'm *dying* to see what happens next in Mary's books! Hope it's awesome. As for Melissa's, I hope you enjoy! Her books are some of the sweetest rom-coms I've read. :)

Happy St. Patrick's Day to you as well - I probably should be wearing green, instead I'm sporting Marvel gear. :D

    1. Yay for review books! I haven't gotten Melissa's yet, but my Amazon order is on its way (cannot wait). Denise's and Amber's are high on my TBR and of course, Dauntless just sounds awesome! Cannot wait to read what you think. :)

    1. Hi, Lianne; thanks! I had fun putting these books together. Unrealistic reading expectations or not, it's nice to dream. :)

  6. Looks like a great list, hope you like them all! :) I have Siren's Fury, Wild Hearts, as ebooks on my tablet to starts as soon as I finish The Truth about Us. I should be getting Together With You in the mail soon. I've read a few of Jennifer Smith books and really enjoyed them so I will be placing You are Here on hold for sure. The one book I can't wait to get in the mail for review is The Choosing by Rachelle Dekker! When it arrives I will stop reading what ever I'm reading and start it ASAP! :)

    1. Yay! I hope you enjoy Siren's Fury and Wild Hearts, Shannon! I don't request e-ARCs if I can help it because on my tablet the format is CRAZY weird. I'm not sure if that's the norm for e-ARCs or if it's how my tablet formats it, either way, it's way to distracting. Together with You sounds awesome and I've heard Jennifer's are delightful!

Ooo, yes, I've heard LOTS of chatter about Rachelle's book. Hope it's good - I'll be anxious to read what you think. :)

    2. My tablet is the same way. I did find a good app that makes the books readable and just like a regular ebook its called Aldiko.

    3. Sorry for that, but I will confess to being glad I'm not the only one who has that problem. I thought it was my e-device. As for the app, thanks for sharing! I'll have to look into that and see if it helps. :)

  8. I would love to read 'The Longest Ride' before it comes out in theaters. I have to admit, I have a soft spot for Nicholas Sparks. Haha! 'The Wonder of You' will be fantastic, and I'm beyond excited for 'Siren's Fury'! I was going to participate this week, but alas- it was Tuesday before I knew it and hadn't prepared anything. ;) Lovely list, Rissi! Your graphics are always amazing- love the flowers. :D

    1. *High Five* I do too, Bekah! Yes, the posters are the "same image" (essentially) and sometimes the stories follow similar paths, but I do enjoy MOST of the adaptations/books. Like you, I want to read this and then hopefully see the film in theaters. But we shall see. :)

As for The Wonder of You and Siren's Fury, YES! Both of those will be epic. Hoping to read the former soon and the later in the next month or two.

I know that feeling - sometimes I'm not in the mood to prepare anything. Maybe you could take part yet, if you have the time! Or if you'd like, you could put this topic together if you were still game to "guest post" over here. :)

  9. These are almost all on my tbr and I'm really looking forward to them!! I only included books from April and May because if I extended that... yeah, I'd have way too many books to choose from. I did two groups of ten as it was. :) You can check out my tens lists here.

    1. Hooray for shared favorites... that's always fun. :) I went beyond the next couple of months because I already have a couple of these for review to read. Otherwise, I should have done the same: limit my selection. You had the smart idea. :)

...off to check out your awesome list, Tressa!
