The Brontë Plot – An Intelligent and Poignant Journey of Adventure, Loss and Love

by

As is the normal for any novel by the talented Katherine Reay, her newest novel, The Bronte Plot is elegance personified. I think each of Katherine’s novels has either matched or surpassed her debut Dear Mr. Knightley, and it goes without saying that I fangirled – and still can, over DMK. Her newest (which just launched today), The Brontë Plot, is beautiful. It’s more about a woman finding herself and discovering what Truth and honesty means and less about being a romance, but it’s one of the best books I’ve read this year.

BOOK REVIEW | Dear Mr. Knightley – A Love Letter to Literary Lovers

I review the book over on Silver Petticoat today and am sharing it along with news of a giveaway here today. I know we’ve had a lot of giveaways here lately and that’s never my intention, but gosh, there are a lot of amazing books coming out. Makes sense since we are entering the fall/winter months which tend to be great for publishers.

Basically, every book this author has penned has been a kind of ode to the novels that are perhaps left to the dust and forgotten among the contemporary impacts of modern fandoms. Continue Reading→

  1. Still haven't read any of Katherine Reay's books sadly. I do have Dear Mr Knightley on my Kindle and recently read Daddy-Long legs, so I think I will dig into that one very shortly!

  2. I seriously think Katherine Reay just gets better and better. Somehow her characters have a way of sinking deep in my heart very subtly until all of a sudden I realize how much I love them! SO good. Going on my top favorites list for sure! :)

    1. Each of Katherine's novels have gotten better and better… for obvious reasons! She's such a rare talent. I agree. This one is going on my top favorites list as well. These characters, this story… everything is beautiful. Wonder what she's got planned next!? :)
