Books and Beverages │ The Shoppe + Giveaway

It's been said dozens of times, but no matter the many (many) times I have said it and will continue to say it, the book blogging (and blogging in general) community is fantastic. The people I've come to know and those who I admire in this community are kind (generously willing to help), fun and passionate about what they do not to mention insanely talented. It's for these reasons and so many more that I get excited when I learn one of my blogging buddies is venturing into something new whether that be publishing a novel or launching some sort of new project.

MEET THE BLOGGER: Jamie + Historical Fiction

Today I have the pleasure of helping to spread the word for Jamie's new venture. Many of you will know Jamie from her blog Books and Beverages. In addition to her fabulous talent as a blogger, Jamie has launched The Shoppe. What is the Shoppe? Well, I'm glad you asked! The Shoppe is a unique book blogger's paradise. In The Shoppe, you can find lovely Inklinks items (including iPad covers!), book marks and perhaps, the coolest item (from a book blogger's perspective) is the Book Blogger's Planner. Seriously, this item is amazing.

Jamie generously sent out some items to that launch team (which I was honored to be a part of) and included was a blogger's planner. Inside is a 6-month blank calendar month where you can plan, plot or dream up your blog posts. There are also places for the book blogger to keep themselves more organized (I clearly need this given my recent spacing out on certain books I committed to review!) with checklists for where the book review was posted including retail sites and social media. In addition to this, there are spots for notes as well as quotes! Needless to say, this planner is as practical as it is gorgeous. The quality is wonderful and I love how thin it is to slip into those small desk spaces.

The adorable bookmarks are stunning, and made of a wonderful quality (of course I love that the one I have features Aslan!) and the post cards not only feature lovely quotes, they are a reminder of what fun it can be to send some good old-fashioned snail mail.

If you've not visited Jamie's shop, please have a look. She has a lovely collection with the promise of more to come.

As a little surprise, I'm offering one U.S. reader the chance to win the Book Blogger's Planner. The same rules as a book giveaway apply, but we'll post them anyway.

The giveaway(s) is open to U.S. readers. But if you are outside the U.S., by entering you're agreeing to accept a gifted Kindle version of the book; U.S. readers will have the option of choosing Kindle or paperback (when applicable). I do ask that anyone who leaves a comment under "anonymous," please leave the same name you enter into the widget in your comment - it's not easy to try and match comments when there is no name and in fairness to everyone else, I want to be able to be sure everyone who used the Rafflecopter correctly has a fair chance at winning against those who abuse it - there have been a few people I could not verify. So please, I don't mean to overwhelm, but just keep this in mind when entering future giveaways. I'd sure appreciate it! Winner(s) will have 48 hours to respond to the email notification before another winner is randomly chosen.

To be entered in the giveaway, just enter as much or as little as you like into the Rafflecopter widget, which you'll find down below. The giveaway ends December 18th.

  4. Love the idea of a book blog planner! In my Digital Archives class, I created a database that was supposed to help me keep track of books in my collection and if they were copies given for review, etc. but I never used it!

Love Narnia --I'll have to check Jamie's shop out!

    1. As do I, Jen. These days I'm in desperate need of some organizational format as I'm forgetting my review obligations more often than I like. I'm hopeful this will help muchly. :D

I'm a big Narnia fan as well, and I hope you enjoy browsing Jamie's fabulous shop. :)

    2. Yeah, right now I'm using a "to do list" app, but I think I'd prefer something physical better. :)

I messed up with my last Twitter entry and copy/pasted a quote instead of the URL: https://mobile.twitter.com/ArtistLibraryan/status/677591585425457152

      Sorry about that! :)

    3. I'm right there with you! I prefer something like this as well - just how I prefer my books, the paperback (physical) copy. :)

No worries! Thanks so much for joining the fun. :)
