Armchair BEA, Day 5 | Wrap-Up, Post Round-Up + Giveaway

Armchair BEA

Hello, happy readers and fellow Armchair BEA participants. Goodness, where did the time go? The extravaganza that is Armchair BEA 2016 has come to a close. This was only my second year joining in, so I had a bit of a challenging time yet again just keeping up with everything. This is in no way a reflection on the event or its organizers, rather I simply didn’t give myself enough time to prepare posts and also visit (more of) the many participants who joined in this fun event. That said, even though I didn’t get to write things out as I’d have liked (or explored some of the topics chosen as thoroughly), it's great to participate.

This leads me to the organizers of Armchair Bea. Thank you all so much for putting this event together. For those of us who don’t get to the actual event, this “armchair adventure” is a lovely way to be a part of something tailored for book lovers around the world. I appreciate all of the work and effort you put into making this event a success.

Highlights for me were participating in a Twitter chat (I’ve not joined that platform of Armchair BEA before) and talking about book covers or design (day two, aesthetics). Like I said I didn’t write as thorough posts as I’ve have liked, but that’s okay! I got some thoughts out there, and who knows, perhaps this will be the launch of more such posts.; ideally, I would really like to write some more discussion posts. Now, I simply need to sit down and write them.

Like I said beforehand, I didn’t visit as many posts and/or new blogs as I’d have like ergo I didn’t find as many Favorite Posts as I otherwise might have. That said, I did meet Elizabeth and Gabriella through this event and my blogging friend, Miranda also joined in this year’s Armchair BEA event which was lovely.

If you'd be interested in looking back over my BEA posts, here is a Wrap-up of my Armchair BEA week on Finding Wonderland.

Also, don't miss the giveaway post. In correlation with Armchair BEA, I thought it'd be fun to put together a little giveaway. It features a list of recent popular and INDIE YA novels. If you'd like to check it out, it runs now - May 24th!

  1. It was lovely meeting you! I agree, it was kind of hard to keep up and I actually wrote a few posts before it even started. Although I'm not a fan of my day three post. I look forward to talking to you more in the future. (: <3

    1. I know the feeling, Gabriella. I always try to put my best into this blog and the writing that comes with it, so it's never fun when we complete something and feel unhappy with it. Great to meet you too and ditto. Looking forward to chatting more with you in our future blogging adventures! :)
