Book Giveaway | Melissa Tagg's Keep Holding On

Hello, hello, friends and readers. Who's ready to celebrate another giveaway? (PS; yes, I have two more later this week because I almost forgot about them and didn't want to forget a second time!) Today, it's "all about Melissa Tagg" day  on Finding Wonderland. Why? Because, today marks the official release day of Melissa's novel (and also, despite this being her fifth full-length novel, a first for her), Keep Holding On

Keep Holding On is Melissa's debut as an Indie author. Her earlier novels were published with Bethany House, and today she ventures into something new.

Let's look at the official synopsis of Keep Holding On.

SynopsisBest friends reunite in Tagg's latest novel of second chances and enduring love.

Beckett Walker hasn't stepped foot in Maple Valley in years. There's no getting past the painful memories, and there's every chance he'll be arrested as soon as he shows his face. Which is exactly what happens when he finally returns. Suddenly his dream of adventure as a military lawyer comes skidding to a halt.

Horticulturist Kit Danby has spent too much time missing home and her childhood best friend--Beckett Walker. Now she might have a shot at reclaiming both. After years of living abroad, she returns to run her family's apple orchard. She has one season to turn a profit and impress the father she barely knows. But she can't do it alone.

It should be simple: Beckett needs community service hours. Kit needs a helping hand. But there's more at stake than either of them planned. With a tangled past and futures that look nothing alike, they'll have to find a way to weather the storms of the present . . . or risk losing everything.

  1. I'm currently in the middle of reading Sofi's Bridge by Christine Lindsey, which is not a contemporary read. But I have this book on my list of books I want to read, because I enjoy Melissa's stories. And I do think she gets better and better with each release.

    1. OhMyGoodness, Just a Kiss is beautiful, Aerykah. I hope you're enjoying.

Bummer about fighting to finish a novel; that's never a good sign. :/

Best of luck - and I think you'll really like Melissa's latest. Or I hope so. :)

  4. Possibly my favorite romantic comedy this year is Love, Lace, and Minor Alterations by V. Joy Palmer, hilarious and heartwarming. Right now, I'm reading To Follow Her Heart by Rebecca DeMarino and Catching Heat by Janice Cantore.

    1. Do you know, I think I've seen Joy's around lately, Beth Erin; that title sound familiar. I'll have to take a closer look at it now. :)

Happy reading - hope you're enjoying your latest reads. Love the genre variety. :)

  5. Have you heard of the Power of the Matchmaker series? It is so great! Each story is written by a different author and the only connection between the stories is an Asian woman who plays the matchmaker. Some are historical, many are contemporary, but they are all clean romance. I just read King of the Friend Zone by Sheralyn Pratt and loved it!

  7. Right now I'm reading The Calling of Ella McFarland by Linda Brooks Davis, Carol Award winner this year.

Favorite contemporary movie? I guess I would say While You Were Sleeping. It never gets old. :) I watch it every Christmas.

    1. I've not heard of 'Ella McFarland," Sylvia, but if it's an award winner, I am clearly missing out. :)

Thanks so much for sharing - and I agree. While You Were Sleeping is a classic. :)
