Book Giveaways | Meet a Bookish Heroine, and a Detective Duo!

Hey, hey, readers and friends. Welcome to Finding Wonderland. Today, I'm featuring two amazing stories with two little giveaway features.

One is a fabulous contemporary romance by a dynamic contemporary author about a book-loving (and respecting!) heroine. Is there anything better?

One is a breezy, witty historical novel penned by a witty Canadian author set in the 1900s Toronto in the styling of Sherlock Holmes and Murdoch Mysteries. (This book also happens to be one I intended to give away way back when, but since the INPSYs delayed my promotion of it, I decided to pair it with this giveaway.)

Either one of these sound like your kind of read? Read onward to learn how you can win a copy!

Here's what you can win.

- TRUE to YOU by Becky Wade (US Only)

OR

A novel by Rachel McMillan, your choice. (International, Kindle)

- The Bachelor Girl's Guide to Murder (Review)
- A Lesson in Love and Murder (Review)
- The White Feather Murders

TRUE to YOU | Exciting Start of a Brand-New Series by a Contemporary Romance Fan Favorite

After a devastating heartbreak three years ago, genealogist and historical village owner Nora Bradford has decided that burying her nose in her work and her books is far safer than romance in the here and now.

Unlike Nora, former Navy SEAL and Medal of Honor recipient John Lawson is a modern-day man, usually 100 percent focused on the present. But when he's diagnosed with an inherited condition, he's forced to dig into the secrets of his past and his adoption as an infant, enlisting Nora to help him uncover the identity of his birth mother.

The more time they spend together, the more this pair of opposites suspects they just might be a perfect match. However, John's already dating someone and Nora's not sure she's ready to trade her crushes on fictional heroes for the risks of a real relationship. Finding the answers they're seeking will test the limits of their identity, their faith, and their devotion to one another. – Goodreads

  1. I JUST started reading "The Innkeeper's Sister" today. I'm literally, like 2 pages in. I'm looking forward to reading it, though.

Favourite romcom movie? Far too many to just list one. When in Rome, While you Were Sleeping, The Proposal, You've Got Mail.....and many more.

  5. I checked out a book from the library called The Perfect Horse: The Daring U.S. Mission to Rescue the Priceless Stallions Kidnapped by the Nazis. I though that it sounded fascinating! I can't wait to learn another unique part of history. That's my next read!

  6. I have so many favorite romcoms! There's an old ABC Family movie called Lucky Number Seven. It stars Kimberly Williams Paisley and Patrick Dempsey. It's so cute! I also love the Wedding Date because of Debra Messing's cousin in the movie. She cracks me up! Sleepless in Seattle is classic. I never tire of that one, either. Meg Ryan and Tom Hanks were adorable in the 90s!

    1. Aww, 'Seven' is cute, Karen. It's been YEARS since I saw it though. 'Wedding Date' is an oldie favorite too, and I know lots of people love Sleepless in Seattle. That's another one that I haven't seen in years. :) Good luck!
