Month in Review | October 2017 + #Booktube Talk

The tenth month of 2017 is “in the books” as they say. (Though who “they” is, I haven’t a clue.)

Either way, we can turn the calendar page on this beautiful month (leaves! trees! colors! crisp air!). Wipe it from the slate, as it’s gone and over with. Ciao, October. Bonjour, November!

Another month’s end means another “month in review” here on Finding Wonderland.

Here we go.

»Favorites from October 2017«

1. The Brave | I'm loving this NBC show. It's SO freaking good. Review is about to be published, so I'll leave it there. What's your favorite new show?

2. Dancing with the Stars |  DWTS continues on its merry way. It's working its way towards the finale. Who do you think will win?

3. Music | The amount of new music invading iTunes is awesome! Loving some new tunes from Kelsea Ballerini and of course (yes, I'm going to say it), Taylor Swift! The countdown for the full-length release of Reputation IS ON.

4. New Recipes! | Last month I mention a coffee, toffee crunch muffin. Since then, I've tried said muffin recipe, and loved it! I also tried a butternut stew (YUMMY!!) and am going to try another apple cider doughnut recipe (tried one, and it wasn't quite right) plus more butternut infused meals. What are some of your favorite baked good (seasonal or otherwise) recipes??

Silver Petticoat:  Here’s a recap look at what I contributed to the amazing webzine, Silver Petticoat.

Articles and Lists | Only one list this month - but it's a good one! We preview Hallmark Channel's Countdown to Christmas originals. If this list gets you excited, let me tell you, this is only the first set of originals! Watch for a second part list at the end of this month.

I do spotlight two sweet romantic moments. The first being Maddy and Olly from the film adaptation of Nicola Yoon's, Everything, Everything; then, for All Hallow's Eve, I also spotlight R and Julie from (another YA novel) the adaptation of Warm Bodies.

Finally, we preview the Fall 2017 Box Office. Hint: There are some good ones coming!

Film and TV Reviews | Because I'm such a Hallmark movie buff, I reviewed not one or two of their Fall Harvest originals on Silver Petticoat, BUT THREE!! Those are Falling for VermontHarvest Love and Love Struck Cafe; plus I also reviewed the YA adaptation of Lauren Kate's novel, Fallen starring Jeremy Irvine

TV Recaps | None!

As always, thanks to the editors of Silver Petticoat and my fellow contributors! Working with you all is always fun.
