Link Love

Happy Friday! Things have been quiet around here lately - if anyone is wondering where all the new reviews around here are, well, there hasn't been anything "good" on the new release shelf lately. That is usually how it goes though; for a period of time, there will be oodles of new titles, then it will dwindle. I expect there will be some new reviews coming in the next few weeks, until then, I hope you find something that intrigues you from the "oldie" archives that are going up. Also, thanks to everyone who has entered the giveaway - it has been such fun! If you haven't yet entered, don't wait! You only have a couple more days to do so...

This post shares some favorite things from this week; I've actually done this a couple of times prior but since I am not posting much beyond reviews, I thought I'd put this together as something different, so here are some of the things I am loving - in links!
  • My new hair color
  • The fact that I have a love/hate relationship with this "type" of jeans is something I've not figured out
  • Just saw this live on stage - in an outdoor theater! (It made me want to see the movie again)
  • How unbelievable was this third season finale?? Absolutely loved it.
  • Reading some spoilers on the up-coming third series of this show - one of my very favorites
  • This cover of the popular song, "Call me Maybe" - I just love it plus I always enjoy these ladies songs and covers
What did you find fun this week?

  1. Pretty color.
    I hate skinny jeans too.
    LOVE Bones.
    Can't wait to see SWATH.
I am SO with you on holiday fluff.
Thank drink looks divine. But I think I have to skip the 200 calories.

  2. OooO! Downton Abbey Spoilers! =D

  3. Juju - I had a pair of of skinny blue jeans that I loved. The fit was perfect and they were comfy but sadly they are worn out now! Since then, I haven't been able to find another pair as perfect, hence my love/hate relationship. Now I am trying to decide if I want to try some colored denim... I like them at the store but then usually get them home and hate them. *sigh*

'Snow White' is grand fun - loved it. Hope you enjoy. I cannot believe so many holiday flicks from Hallmark are releasing as soon as October - that means, I will be all the more anxious to get into the Christmas spirit. :-)

200 calories... who does!? LOL! ;-D

Natalie - I know, right!? Gotta' love 'em!

  4. oh gosh, all of these covers of "call me maybe" are making me happy! never getting tired of this song!
    xo TJ

  5. OH MY GOSH! I love Little Women, Downton Abbey (that finale - WOW!), Giovanni products, AND McDonald's frozen drinks. We have so many of the same tastes! ♥

  6. TJ - I know, right!? I think the song is so... fun, and full of energy. I particularly like this version. :-)

As always, glad you stopped by.

Lydia - me too! It is such an endearing, classic story. So sweet. The question about 'Downton' has now become: Who doesn't like it!? LOL!

Yep, today I had a Frappe instead of the lemonade - such a yummy summer-time treat. :-)

Really glad you stopped in, Lydia. :-)

  7. Your link list posts are fun!

I love your new hair color. Auburn hair is lovely.

    Yey, you saw Little Women!

What?! It's already White Collar's season finale? I so need to catch up!

Thank you for the Downton Abbey spoiler link! I can't wait for the third season.

  8. Thanks, Jemimah! These are always fun to put together. :-)

I decided I wanted something different, so I went with auburn - and I totally agree: It is a lovely color!

Seeing Little Women was a delight - I enjoyed it tremendously. :-)

Cannot wait for 'Downton' S3 - next winter cannot come soon enough! White Collar is currently airing S4 - I just finished S3; I watch them a year behind via DVD, so it was a season finale for me.

    Glad you stopped in!!!

  9. OMW, I love Call Me Maybe!!!! And that video is WAY better than the actual one... ;)

  10. Isn't it grand fun!? I don't know that I've watched Carly's version yet but this one puts a smile on my face. :-)
