Book Giveaway | Lynette Eason's Without Warning

Friday, August 19, 2016

Good afternoon, friends and readers. We're on the edge of another weekend, which is worthy of some confetti don't you think? This is the first summer weekend in a long time we're forecasted to have rain on Saturday although after today's hot and humid weather, a cool down might be welcome. We can't have it all, right?
I've got another giveaway to close out the week because I happened to have two copies of Lynette Eason's latest, Without Warning and I want to share that copy with one of you. It's a fast-paced, exhilarating romantic-suspense novel that you simply MUST read if you like Eason novels or the likes of Dani Pettrey. (If you want a more coherent, specific review, my review is linked above and below.)
Let's look at the official synopsis of Without Warning.
Synopsis: Katie Singleton, a partner with the Elite Guardians Protection Agency, stumbles upon her next assignment quite by accident. Spotting blue lights at a familiar restaurant, she stops to investigate, only to discover that owner Daniel Matthews has become the target of someone who will go to any lengths to put him out of business.

Daniel might be concerned, but he's not convinced that a bodyguard--and a female one at that--is necessary. A new attack and his niece's urgings are enough to make him reconsider. He and Katie must figure out who's behind the intimidation and threats--before a would-be killer strikes again.

Witty dialogue and a simmering attraction will have readers flying through this tension-laced thriller. Eason exercises complete control of her readers' emotions as they race through the pages to discover the truth. - Goodreads
And now let's get the rule details out of the way. (If you're a pro in giveaway's around here, just skip to the good bit: the widget!)
The giveaway(s) is open to US readers. The prize will be a paperback copy, unless otherwise noted (US readers might have a paperback option when applicable). I do ask that anyone who leaves a comment under "anonymous," please leave the same name you enter into the widget in your comment - it's not easy to try and match comments when there is no name and in fairness to everyone else, I want to be able to be sure everyone who used the Rafflecopter correctly has a fair chance at winning against those who abuse it - there have been a few people I could not verify. So please, I don't mean to overwhelm, but just keep this in mind when entering future giveaways. I'd sure appreciate it! Winner(s) will have 48 hours to respond to the email notification (you'll be contacted at the email address in the Rafflecopter form) before another winner is randomly chosen.
To be entered in the giveaway, just enter as much or as little as you like into the Rafflecopter widget, which you'll find down below. The Giveaway ends August 27th. Happy Rafflecopter-ing.

  1. I am so excited about this new series of Lynette's. She is one of my favorite romantic suspense writers. And I am very interested to see how she writes about women in a male dominated career like bodyguard. Thanks for the review and giveaway!

    1. This new series is one epic adrenaline punch after another, Loraine. If you like her books, I have NO doubt you'll enjoy this one - and Always Watching does a really good job of balancing Katie's ability TO rescue and BE rescued, which the romantic in me doesn't mind at all. :)

  2. Right now I am reading A Flight of Arrows by Lori Benton.
I don't read a lot of suspense novels but do like a good crime drama on TV.

    1. Lori Benton is a favorite author among my blogging circle, so I'm sure that is a well-written and enjoyable read, Patty. :)

I'm addicted to WAY too many crime dramas on TV. If you like those, you're sure to enjoy Lynette's books. :)

  3. I recently read Traces of Guilt by Dee Henderson and really enjoyed it!

    1. Fabulous! My mom is a big suspense book junkie, so I was just thinking today I should get Dee's new book for her as a birthday gift. Glad to know it was good. :)

  4. Hannah GraftAugust 24, 2016

I absolutely love Lynette's books! She's one of my favorite authors. I have really loved this series so far and look forward to the next books!

    1. This series is so good, Hannah. Hope you enjoy Without Warning as much as the first novel. :)
