Month in Review | May 2018 + #Booktube Talk

Hey, there June! Another end of another month brings with it yet another Finding Wonderland Month in Review recap-y thing. In my corner of the world, contrary to what the calendar says, summer is here.

Ciao, May 2018. Bonjour, June!

Here we go.

»Favorites from May 2018«

1: Booktube | Though I've not been posting quite as much, I'm still having lots of fun with booktube! But, tell me, what channels do you love? Do you have any fun suggestions, tags or ideas for Finding Wonderland's channel? I'd love to get your feedback and learn more what you like to see from Booktube!

2: Dancing with the Stars | The four-week edition of DWTS wrapped in a whirlwind speed. Did you watch, and if so, what did you think?

3: Instagram Stories | Over this last two months or so, I’ve been posting some on IG stories… but I don’t feel like I post anything particularly “interesting.” Fellow book bloggers and bloggers, what do you use stories for? Let me know if there’s any tips or advice you’ve found helpful – or let me know what you’d LIKE to see on my IG stories.

4: Music | I've been addicted to buying songs from cover artists - and in some cases, I like their versions better! What music are you loving these days? (Of course, I'm still music-obsessing over Taylor's new album.) Oh! And I'm really liking all of the new songs from Megan & Liz.

5: Summer TV | The summer TV season has begun! What new shows have caught your eye? I'd love to know what your excited for!

»Wishful Wonder Bookstagram Challenge«

There’s another #WishfulWonder Bookstagram challenge. The fun begins today, June 1! All the details can be found in the introduction postPS: if you’d ever like to join in as a host, let me know.

Silver Petticoat | Though it’s undergoing a new behind the scenes changes (including less content), there’s still plenty of amazing reads over on Silver Petticoat. Here’s a recap look at what I contributed to the amazing webzine.

Articles and Lists | This month I gush over Pushing Daisies (because AWWW!); Ten Royal Romances (to coincide with the real Royal Wedding); and we preview the June Weddings on Hallmark Channel! Finally, also as a kind of nod to the Royal Wedding, I reminisce about a Romantic Moment from the darling romcom The Prince and Me.

Film and TV Reviews | My long review spotlights Dirty Dancing: Havana Nights (a prequel that really ISN'T all bad; in fact, it's quite entertaining).

TV Recaps | None!

As always, thanks to the editors of Silver Petticoat and my fellow contributors! Working with you all is always fun.

    1. Thanks, Joann. Booktube is lots of fun, though it is time consuming. :)

In the plans - I think, is a full season of DWTS. Is it cool that I'm already curious who will dance!? ;)

Thanks! You too. Happy June. :)

  2. Ohh I've had a phase in which I only listened to covers from songs, because I preferred them over the actual original versions. (I really like Taylor Swift's cover of Riptide for example.) :)

    Lovely post! <3

    1. I'll have to have a listen to Taylor's cover, Lily - not sure if I've heard that one. Covers are fun to listen too for sure. I like to hear the unique spins artists put on the song. :)

...thanks so much for visiting, and it's great to meet you (comment challenge friend)! I look forward to visiting your blog throughout June and beyond. It's always fun to meet new bloggers. :)
